J. Rachael Hamlet created The Breastfeeding Advocacy Page in October 1995. Since then, the
site has received over 100,000 hits and critical praise from such sites as Parentsoup, Parenthoodweb, NetGuide, and Internet World Magazine. In July 1998, she donated the entire contents of her site to ProMom. She hopes that this material will be of use to ProMom and its supporters in their efforts to promote mother's milk.

J. Rachael Hamlet is a lawyer by training, and has been an at-home mom since her daughter Hannah's birth.
