The character of Lexi on the popular daytime television show Days of Our Lives became a new mother in 2003. Our readers sent 3 Minute Activist letters to encourage the producers to have Lexi breastfeed on the show.

As a fan of Days of Our Lives, and a new mother, I have been following the pregnancy of Lexi very closely. Lexi has always been a favorite character of mine, and I would love to see Lexi breastfeed her baby. Breastfeeding has many benefits to baby and mom. Having Lexi breastfeed on your show would do a great deal to promote breastfeeding. Your show is very popular among mothers and mothers to be. Hopefully seeing Lexi breastfeed her baby would encourage other mothers to give their baby the best start possible.
